Paint Additives
Interior and exterior anti-skid additive can be added to paints and coatings to create a slip-resistant surface. Perfect for sidewalks, driveways, pool sides, decks, docks, ramps, stairs, and more. Mix 1 package to 1 Gal. of paint or other coating. Made from 100\% walnut shells. 40/60 grit.
An additive for oil-based paints and linseed oil to improve drying qualities. Very pale in color and can be used in all colors. Normal recommendation is to add 1 to 2 Oz. per gallon - not to exceed half pint per gallon. Be careful not to over apply to avoid problems associated with the paint film drying too quickly. Half pint.
Add Penetrol to oil-based (alkyd) paints or varnish to improve flow and maintain paint quality. When used by itself, Penetrol makes an ideal matte finish for interior rustic woods, provides protection against rust on metals and restores luster to faded fiberglass. Mix 16 Oz. : 1 Gal. Oil Based Paint. Rinse thoroughly.
Add to latex paints to improve flow and cover qualities. Floetrol extends wet-edge time to avoid lapping and reduces brush drag when painting under hot and dry or cool and damp conditions. Floetrol also helps in spraying latex paints by reducing wear and tear on tips, packings, seals, and other spray equipment parts and prevents tip clogging. Mix ratio: 8 Oz. per gallon of paint up to maximum 16 Oz. per gallon. Airless sprayer ratio: 32 Oz. (1 quart) per gallon.
A sand finish paint additive that can be added to any interior or exterior paint to create a light, decorative texture to walls and ceilings. Easily applied with a brush or roller. Add any amount to produce the desired texture. See Skid-Tex for a skid-resistant paint additive. 1 lb.
